I am originally from Ontario, and came to Vernon B.C to further my pursuit to be a full-time martial artist and fitness trainer!
I have always been driven to play sports, and be physically active. I got into martial arts at a young age, and I practice and teach Jiu Jitsu and Boxing. I am always looking to challenge myself, and martial art competitions are a big part of my practice. I love the experience gained from competing, and feel it is a great asset towards helping people learn and achieve skills.
I went to Humber college for Fitness and Health Promotion. With my schooling I gained my Personal Trainer certification through CanFitPro, along with other certifications, and it all lead me to Functional Patterns. I train under that system and I teach people posture, proper alignment, and muscle activation while moving in any fashion. I bulged my L4,L5 and compressed my S1. Some days I could not walk. I was able to get back into shape and train boxing but not jiu jitsu. It was not until I learned and trained under Functional Patterns that enabled me to perform and compete in jiu jitsu again.
With my knowledge in Personal Training and martial arts, I can help put you through a fun, challenging innovative workout that will keep you fit and wanting more!
